Appealing West Andover offers a little bit of everything for potential homebuyers. One of the larger neighborhoods in Andover, it is not far from bustling Andover Town Center, yet still has plenty of lush green areas for residents to enjoy, including at least two nature reservation areas, and other desirable community features such as the dog park at Bald Hill. The vibrant community is bordered by I-93 to the east and Rt. 495 to the south. The northern border is the graceful Merrimack River.
One reason West Andover is a preferred neighborhood is due to the great variety of homes it offers. With some remarkable historic farmhouses dating back to the 1800s, there has also been newer construction in recent years of ravishing luxury homes. Not to be amiss, there are also refined colonials standing in the neighborhood which were built in the early 1990s, and even condos. Regardless of style, most houses in West Andover are very spacious, approximately in the range of 3,000-4,000 square feet, though there are certainly both larger and smaller homes as well.
