Pondville Pond, Auburn
Located East of Route 20, Pondville Pond covers 7.2 square miles. The amount of water in the pond is regulated by the Pondville Pond Dam, which was constructed at the northwest point of the pond in 1875.
Many of the properties surrounding Pondville Pond are located on quiet side streets such as Oakland Drive, Riverside Drive, Pondville Court, and May Lane. The one main road running adjacent to Pondville Pond is Old Common Road, the location of many luxurious waterfront homes.
Pondville Pond is just a quick drive away from the historic Auburn Center and Auburn Mall, the area’s premiere shopping center. For those who commute regularly, Pondville Pond is less than a few miles away from access to the Mass Pike, Interstate-290, Interstate-395, as well as Routes 12 and 20.
