North Billerica

North Billerica is the area of the town located north of Route 129 and Bridge Street. Route 3A, which runs south into the center of town or north into Lowell. The Lowell Connector, which gives drivers access to both Interstate 495 and the Northwest Expressway, is also just a few miles north of this region. 

The homes in North Billerica are mainly located just off of the the main roads in the area such as Lowell Street, High Street, Billerica Avenue, and Route 3A. There’s also a group of houses in a small, quiet neighborhood known as The Meadows on the the west side of this area. Houses in the area range in size, but are mostly 3-4 bedroom Colonials, split entry, and ranches with multiple bathrooms.

If you’re looking for something a little smaller, you can find cozy townhouses at Barrett Farm Condominiums, a popular condominium complex in Billerica. There are also many large plots of land for sale in area, some of which are more than a dozen acres in size.

North Billerica is within a couple miles of a few parks and state forests, the closest of which is Billerica State Forest. Here you’ll find many trails for hiking and biking, as well as grassy areas for picnics and observing nature. Great Brook Farm State Park, one of the town’s largest state parks, is a few miles further to the west. Those interested in spending a day at the beach can drive about five miles south to Nutting Lake, the site of Micozzi Beach, which is open to the public throughout the summer.

North Billerica is a short drive from many of the area’s most popular shopping centers and local businesses. Treble Cove Plaza, an outdoor shopping plaza, can be found on the western side of this region along Route 129. Shoppers can travel a couple miles south down Route 129 to Shops at Billerica, the town’s biggest shopping center. The Burlington Mall in Burlington, Oakdale Mall in Tewksbury, and the Sunrise Shopping Center in Lowell are all within ten miles of North Billerica.
