Tercentennial is a neighborhood in Billerica, located on side streets off of Andover Road and Allen Road. The main roads that form this large neighborhood are Tercentennial Drive and Baldwin Road.
The are a variety of homes in Tercentennial including smaller, 2-3 bedroom Capes, ranches, and townhouses as well as more spacious 3-5 bedroom Colonial, split entry, and Dutch style residences. Most houses in the area have multiple bathrooms, over 1,000 square feet of living space, and a private, off-street driveway or garage.
Tercentennial is the home of Country Club of Billerica. This club features an 18 hole golf course that welcomes the public as well a restaurant, sports bar, lounge area, and large banquet hall for specials events. This area is also just north of Altitude Trampoline Park, which has dozens of trampolines, a foam pit, climbing wall, and more.
Altitude Trampoline Park is just one of the attractions of Towne Shopping Plaza, one of Billerica’s most popular shopping centers. This plaza is the site of more than a dozen shops and eateries. The other major shopping area in Billerica is Shops at Billerica, which is approximately two miles away from Tercentennial. The Wilmington Plaza, the site of another couple dozen outlets and restaurants, is less than five miles to the east in Wilmington.
Tercentennial is within a few miles of many parks, forests, and bodies of water that are great for fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. This area is less than a mile south of Fox Hill, a relatively small mountain that’s frequented by hikers and bikers in the warmer months and sledders and cross-country skiers when there’s snow on the ground. Vietnam Veterans Park, Ralph Hill Conservation Area, Minnie Reed Conservation are all just a short drive away on the western side of the Northwest Expressway. Nutting Lake and Micozzi Beach, Billerica’s most popular public beach, is only about a five minute drive southwest of this neighborhood.
