Timbercreek is a neighborhood in the southern end of Billerica. The homes in this neighborhood are located on Timbercreek Road, a looping enclosed circle less than a quarter mile away from the intersection of Dudley Road and Nashua Road, which makes up part of Route 4. Route 3A, Route 129, the Northwest Expressway, and Interstate 93 are also nearby, making travel or commuting very easy.
The homes at Timbercreek are mostly 3-4 bedroom Colonials with multiple bathrooms, a large lawn, private porch or deck, and an off-street driveway leading up to an attached garage. Many of the homes in Timber Creek have a gorgeous view of Minnie Reed Conservation Area and Concord River, both of which are located behind the western side of the neighborhood.
Minnie Reed Conservation Area has plenty of nature trails that are great for taking a bike ride or going for a hike as well as grassy areas to picnic or observe the natural wildlife. Greenough Land, another public park, is just west of Minnie Reed Conservation. Concord River runs between Minnie Reed Conservation Area and Greenough Land. The river is a popular place to canoe, kayak, paddleboard, or fish for bass, carp, pickerel, and more. This neighborhood is also just a few minutes west of Nutting Lake, which features a public beach, athletic courts, and picnic areas.
Those living in the Timbercreek neighborhood can take the Middlesex Turnpike a few miles south into Burlington, Massachusetts, a city with many popular shopping areas. Between the Burlington Mall, Middlesex Commons, 3rd Ave Burlington, and Burlington Square, you’ll find hundreds of stores and restaurants as well as an AMC Cinema and a few grocery stores. Residents are also just a short drive away from many shops, eateries, grocery stores, and a trampoline park at the Towne Shopping Plaza, Shops at Billerica, and Treble Cove Plaza in Billerica.
