ERA Key’s Donna Towne Donates $1,000 to Baypath Humane Society
Donna Towne, a Realtor in the Westborough office of ERA Key Realty Services, has donated $1,000 to the Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton.
Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton provides “shelter, care, humane treatment and loving homes for stray or unwanted companion animals. We seek to serve our community by fostering relationships, promoting education and making a positive impact on pet overpopulation.”
Donna adopted her cat, Misty, from Baypath 13 years ago and she has supported the organization for the past eight years. In addition to attending Baypath’s annual Fur Ball fundraiser each year with friends and participating in the fall Paws n Claws five kilometer run at Hopkinton State Park each year, she has supported the organization financially through the ERA Key Charitable Trust.
The ERA Key Charitable Trust has donated more than $400,000 to area charities since its inception in 2004.
“I usually make a donation each year from the charitable trust for $500,” Donna said, “but since this year took such a toll on them due to cancelations of their events, I increased my contribution to $1,000. I also donate items such as dog and cat beds, and pet food and toys to give to others who are adopting pets.”
