ERA Key’s Framingham Office Helps Family Promise Receive $4,000 in Grants
ERA Key’s Framingham office helped Family Promise Metrowest receive $4,000 in grants to help shelter area families in need.
ERA Key nominated Family Promise for a $2,500 grant from The Greater Boston Association of Realtors and referred Family Promise to the Massachusetts Realtor Association, which provided an additional $1,500 grant.
Family Promise seeks to help area families move out of poverty and homelessness by providing them temporary housing, meals and support. The two grants will enable Family Promise to shelter two families for a month or prevent three families from being evicted from their homes.
“We are so fortunate and pleased to have supporters like you,” said Carol Virshbo, who chairs the Board of Directors of Family Promise Metrowest. “ERA Key’s participation is truly amazing and very much appreciated.”
“Giving back to the community is a core value of ERA Key and Family Promise is a natural fit for achieving that goal,” said Ali Corton, who manages the Framingham office. “We have made financial contributions, collected gift cards and served meals for Family Promise. These grants are just another example of how we can help.”
