ERA Key agents not only volunteered to help build a home in Sturbridge for the MetroWest/Greater Worcester Habitat for Humanity, they also donated $1,000 recently through the ERA Key Charitable Trust.
On its Facebook home page, Habitat for Humanity wrote, "Another shout out to ERA Key Realty Services that formed a second team to help build an affordable home in Sturbridge during our Women Build event! The team not only volunteered their time and talent, but raised money to support our mission to build homes, communities, and hope. We’re so grateful to ERA Key Realty for supporting Women Build!"
Women Build is a national initiative to engage women in the effort to provide safe and decent homes for families in need of affordable housing.
ERA Key has volunteered for and made donations to Habitat for Humanity for many years.
The segment, which focused on the spring housing market, noted that housing inventory continues to be low, but sales are brisk. Inventory has dropped from 10,057 homes in 2020 to 4,307 in 2021 and 2,349 this year.
“Houses are not staying on the market for a long time, so it feels like there is no inventory,” according to the “Chronicle” report. “When you have more buyers than houses coming on the market, it feels like there is nothing to buy.”
