South Row Park, Chelmsford

South Row Park is a neighborhood of homes just south of the center of Chelmsford, Massachusetts. The area is bisected by Route 4, while Route 27 runs along its western edge. Route 110, Route 129, the Northwest Expressway, and Interstate 495 are all within a few miles of the region, making it an ideal location for commuters or anyone seeking to travel throughout central Massachusetts.

Many of the homes in South Row Park are located on a side street off of Parker Road, Acton Road, or Boston Road, the three main streets in the area. These houses vary in size, but you’ll find 2-4 bedroom residences with multiple bathrooms and thousands of square feet in living area. There also some condominium and apartment complexes nearby such as Coach House and Ledgewood Terrace Condominiums. Many of the neighborhoods in this part of Chelmsford are surrounded by woodland areas, giving locals plenty of privacy.

South Row Park is about a mile south of Chelmsford Town Center, one of the town’s most popular shopping areas. Here you’ll find the a supermarket, fitness center, pharmacy, as well as many outstanding local businesses and restaurants. Locals can drive a little further up Route 110 to the Chelmsford Mall, a large indoor shopping mall, or to the many excellent stores and restaurants in the city of Lowell. Those living in South Row Park can also make the short drive west towards Westford and Littleton, where they’ll find more large shopping plazas such as Westford Valley Marketplace and Cornerstone Square.

South Row Park residents are also conveniently located near many of the town’s most popular natural attractions. Golfers can head to Chelmsford Country Club or Swanson Meadows Golf Course, both of which are within a couple miles of this area. Many trails, forests, and athletic fields can be found between Billerica State Forest, Great Brook Farm State Forest, and Warren H Manning State Park, all of which are just a short drive away. In the winter season, locals can take their snowmobiles or ski equipment north to Lowell-Dracut-Tyngsboro State Forest or south to Great Brook Ski Touring Center.
