East Douglas Village is the heart of Douglas. East Douglad is home to most of Douglas’s town services, including the local police department, middle school, high school, post office, and public library. There are also a number of local businesses, restaurants, and along Route 16 between Cook Street and Mechanic Street. A short drive north will take to you the popular malls of Auburn and Worcester, while an hour drive south will take you to all the sights and sounds of Providence, Rhode Island.
