Framingham Reservoir

Framingham Reservoir is a large body of water formed by three smaller reservoirs and Cowassock Brook. Visitors of the reservoir, particularly at the center of the reservoir complex, can enjoy fishing for many different species including catfish, bass, and crappie. Salem End Road and Worcester Road both cross over the reservoir near its northern end.

Framingham Reservoir is easily accessible as Routes 9, 30, and 135 are all within a mile of its coast. The Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90), the state’s longest highway which ranges from Boston to the New York State border, crosses over the northern side of the reservoir as well.
