Learned Pond is a small pond located between Farm Pond and Gleason Pond near the center of Framingham. The pond is easily accessible as it is located within a few miles of Route 126, the Boston-Worcester Turnpike, and the Massachusetts Turnpike, which travels across the entire state.

The homes near Learned Pond are mostly located in a small neighborhood or cul-de-sac off of Union Avenue or Warren Road. There are a variety of styles of houses in the area including Colonials, contemporaries, ranches, and garrisons. Many of these homes have 3-4 bedrooms, 2-4 bathrooms, and over 1,500 square feet of living space. These neighborhoods are conveniently located near a bus line, which travels throughout the city.

This pond is just north of the center of Framingham, the site of many grocery stores, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, and local businesses. Residents of a home near Learned Pond can take Route 126 a bit further south to more shopping plazas in Ashland, Massachusetts. The city of Natick, known for its large shopping complex, is also nearby. Natick’s main shopping area features five attractions: Shoppers World, Natick Mall, Sherwood Plaza, Cloverleaf Marketplace, and an AMC movie theater. In this shopping complex there are hundreds of excellent stores and restaurants, so you’ll be able to find exactly what you’re looking for.

Learned Pond isn’t the only popular pond near the center of Framingham. Less than a mile west of this pond is Farm Pond, a popular fishing spot. Visitors can also take canoes and kayaks out onto the water or spend a day playing outside at one of the nearby sports fields. Lake Cochituate, where locals can fish or take any size boat out on the water, is also only a short drive east of this area. Residents can walk, jog, or bike throughout scenic nature trails at one of the many nearby state parks including Callahan State Park, Ashland State Park, and Hopkinton State Park.
