There are many large shopping centers near Oak Terrace Condos, many of which are located along the Boston-Worcester Turnpike. Residents can take this highway west towards Worcester and reach White City Shopping Center, Stagecoach Plaza, and Westmeadow Plaza, three large outdoor shopping plazas. To the east, you’ll find Shoppers World, the Natick Mall, and a large movie theater as well as a couple other plazas. Overall, the shopping complex in Natick features more than 250 stores and restaurants. These condos are also a few miles north of the center of Framingham, where visitors can find locally-owned shops and eateries as well as pharmacies, banks, fitness centers, and grocery stores.

Callahan State Park, one of the city’s largest woodland areas, is just a few miles north of Oak Terrace Condos. This park features miles of hiking and biking trails as well as relaxing spots to picnic or observe nature. Golfers can enjoy playing a round at Millwood Farms Golf Course, which is just east of the park. Those who enjoy boating and fishing are within a few miles of Farm Pond in the center of Framingham as well as Lake Cochituate in Natick. Visitors of either body of water can fish for a variety of species or take a canoe or kayak out on the water. Lake Cochituate also features a large public ramp which can be used to launch larger, motorized vessels.
