Sudbury River Framingham

Sudbury River runs over 32 miles through parts of Ashland, Westborough, Wayland, Sudbury, and Framingham, Massachusetts. The river is a popular fishing spot. Locals can also take their boats on the water and observe the natural wildlife on the river.

The Sudbury River is easily accessible as it is crossed over by three major highways: Route 30, the Boston-Worcester Turnpike, and the Massachusetts Turnpike. Each of these highways make it easy for drivers to travel throughout eastern and central Massachusetts, while the Mass Pike can also take you as far as the border of New York state.

Most of the homes near the Sudbury River are a few miles north of Natick, Massachusetts, the site of a very large complex of shopping malls. Shoppers World, Cloverleaf Marketplace, Sherwood Plaza, and the Natick Mall can be found within a one mile radius of each other. This complex features more than 250 excellent stores and restaurant as well as an AMC movie theater. Those who enjoy the city atmosphere can take either the Boston-Worcester Turnpike or the Mass Pike 25 miles west into Worcester, or 25 miles east into Boston.

The Sudbury River isn’t the only popular water attraction in the area. Many of the homes by the river are about a mile west from the northern tip of Lake Cochituate in Natick. Visitors of the lake can swim, fish, or ride their motorized or cartop boats. The public can easily launch their boats using the wide boat ramp off of the lake’s coast. Many popular golf courses, including Millwood Farms, Nashawtuc Country Club, and Framingham Country Club, are just a few miles off the coast of this river.Â
