Brookside Estates

Brookside Estates is a small subdivision of homes in northern Franklin, Massachusetts. These houses are primarily located east of Pond Street on Annabel Lane, Sophia Circle, and Coronation Drive. This neighborhood is just a few miles east of Route 126 and an on-ramp for Interstate 495. Locals can also take the train directly into Boston via an MBTA Commuter Rail stop in Franklin.

The homes in the Brookside Estates neighborhood are mostly 3-4 bedroom Colonials, Capes, and raised ranches. Many of these homes have two or more bedrooms as well as an attached garage, spacious yard, and more than 1,500 square feet of living space. Residents can feel comfortable jogging or walking the dog around the block as this area has streetlamps and paved sidewalks. The tall trees throughout this neighborhood also give many of these houses plenty of privacy.

These homes are less than five miles away from many excellent shopping areas in both Franklin and Bellingham, Massachusetts. Residents of Brookside Estates can head directly south on Pond Street to the center of Framingham where they’ll find many small shopping plazas along Central Street. These plazas, most notably Franklin Village Plaza, feature many local restaurants and businesses as well as grocery stores, banks, pharmacies, and more. This neighborhood is also just five miles east of Crossroads Shopping Center and Stallbrook Marketplace, two shopping centers in Bellingham. Charles River Center, the site of a movie theater and a few stores and restaurants, is also nearby. Those who enjoy watching live sports or concerts can make the short drive east to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, the home of the New England Revolution and New England Patriots.

Brookside Estates is approximately two miles south the Charles River, a popular place among boaters and fishers. This neighborhood is also less than five miles north of Chilson Park and Franklin State Forest, two public parks in the city of Franklin that feature picnic areas and plenty of scenic trails. Golfers can play a round at Maplegate Country Club, Franklin Country Club, or Bungay Brook Golf Club, all of which are within fifteen minutes of these homes.
