Franklin Center Commons is a relatively new condominium complex that was built in 2008 in Franklin, Massachusetts. These condos are located just south of Route 140 on Summer Street. These homes are just a couple miles north of Interstate 495, making it easy for residents to travel throughout the area. Locals can also travel directly into Boston’s South Station via a stop along the MBTA Commuter Rail in Franklin.
The condos at Franklin Center Commons are mostly 1-2 bedroom, 1-2 bathroom units with between 1,000 – 1,500 square feet of living space. These condos include stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, central air, a deck or patio area, and an assigned, covered parking space. Residents also have access to a private, off-street parking lot and elevators in each building.
Being located along Route 140, residents of these condos are within a couple miles of most of Franklin’s shopping plazas and local businesses. These plazas feature banks, supermarkets, pharmacies, local restaurants, and more. Franklin Center Commons is also about a 15 minute drive east away from Patriot Place and Wrentham Village Premium Outlets, two shopping plazas with more than one-hundred stores and restaurants.
Franklin Center Commons is also just a short drive away from Franklin’s most popular outdoor attractions. Chilson Park, the site of a conservation area and Chilson Beach, is about two miles west of this condominium complex. Franklin State Forest, which features many nature trails and paths, is just only about a mile further west. Visitors of this forest can go hiking, mountain biking, off-roading, and cross-country skiing along the trails. Nature lovers can also spend a day at Harold B. Clark State Forest, Wrentham State Forest, and F. Gilbert Hills State Forest, all of which are just east of Franklin. Golfers can play a round at one of the area’s many courses including Franklin Country Club, Wentworth Hills Country Club, and Bungay Brook Golf Club.
