Hawthorne Village, Franklin

Hawthorne Village is a neighborhood of roughly one-hundred townhouses in northwestern Franklin, Massachusetts. These condos are located on an enclosed circle called “Hawthorne Village”. Residents can easily commute to work or travel throughout the area due to this neighborhood’s convenient location within a couple of miles of Interstate 495, Route 109, and Route 126.

Most of the condos at Hawthorne Village have 1-3 bedrooms, 1-3 bathrooms, and more than 1,500 square feet of living space. Many of these townhouses also include an attached garage, central air conditioning, and stainless steel appliances. Residents can enjoy many amenities including tennis courts, a heated, in-ground pool, a picnic area, and a playground.

This condominium complex is less than two miles of west of the Charles River, which runs along the western and northern border of Franklin. Residents of Hawthorne Village can take their cartop boat out on the river, or use it to go fishing for bass, perch, pike, and more. However, locals may have more luck fishing at Lake Maspenock in Upton, Massachusetts, or Lake Pearl In Wrentham, Massachusetts. Lake Pearl also features a small, public beach along its northern coast.

Hawthorne Village is also within driving distance of many excellent state forests including Upton State Forest, Ashland State Park, and Franklin State Forest, which is about five miles directly south of the neighborhood. Each of these forests feature a variety of trails that can be used for mountain biking, hiking, and many other outdoor activities.

Residents of Hawthorne Village are conveniently located with fifteen miles of the area’s best shopping centers, many of which can be found just outside the city of Franklin. To the west, locals can spend the day shopping at Quarry Square Shopping Center, the site of many outstanding shops, eateries, and department stores. Wrentham Village and Patriot Place, two outdoor shopping plazas with more than 100 stores and restaurants, are both about ten miles southeast of these condos.
