Winterberry Farms

Winterberry Farms is a neighborhood of houses near the northern end of Franklin. These homes are located west off of Lincoln Street on Winterberry Drive and Huckleberry Lane. Locals can easily travel throughout the area as they are only a short drive from Route 115, Route 126, Route 140, and Interstate 495.

The homes in Winterberry Farms are mostly large, four-bedroom Colonials three or more bedrooms and over 2,500 square feet of living space. Many of these houses have an attached garage, deck or porch, and a large yard with plenty of tree coverage that provides extra privacy. This area is fairly safe and quiet thanks to limited through-traffic and paved sidewalks alongside the streets in the neighborhood.

Residents Winterberry Farms can take Lincoln Street directly south to Central Street, where most of Franklin’s local businesses and shopping plazas are located. Grocery stores, banks, pharmacies, department stores, and more can be found along Central Street, which makes up part of Route 140. Local can take Route 140 about ten miles east to either Patriot Place or Wrentham Village Premium Outlets, two outdoor shopping centers. Each of these plazas have more than 100 stores and restaurants. Visitors of Patriot Place can also catch a Patriots football game, Revolution soccer match, or musical concert at Gillette Stadium, which is located in the same complex.

The Charles River and Populatic Pond are both a few miles north of Winterberry Farms. Visitors of these natural attractions can spend the day fishing, kayaking, or canoeing. Those who prefer to swim can visit one of the beaches along the coast of Lake Pearl in Wrentham or Beaver Pond in Franklin. This neighborhood is also within fifteen miles of many gorgeous state forests including Ashland State Park, Wrentham State Forest, Upton State Forest, and Franklin State Forest. Visitors of any of these state parks can spend the day hiking, horseback riding, biking, and more.
