Settled in 1659 and later incorporated into Middlesex County, Holliston is a quiet “bedroom community” conveniently located near the technology belts of 128 and 495. 19 square miles in area, Holliston’s town center is full of boutiques, restaurants, and white church steeples. Once home to a bustling shoe manufacturing industry, Holliston has just over 13,500 residents today. The main neighborhoods of Holliston are Braggville, East Holliston, Gooch Corners, Metcalf, Mudville, Lakeside, and the Town Center/Historic District.
Holliston is located 21.6 miles outside of Boston, near I-90, I-128, and I-495. It is accessible by Route 16 and Route 126. Holliston borders the towns of Sherborn, Millis, Medway, Milford, Hopkinton, and Ashland.
