Memorial Beach is one of the main beaches of Fort Meadow Reservoir in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This public beach is a great place to walk the dog, have a barbeque using one of the many grills in the picnic area, or go for a refreshing swim. A lifeguard is usually on-duty to watch over the beach’s swimmers.
There are a variety of houses available near Memorial Beach, many of which are settled in quiet neighborhoods along the coast of the reservoir. You’ll find 1-2 bedroom cottages, condos, and townhouses as well as larger single-family homes on Hosmer Street and Stevens Street. Some of the homes also have a spectacular waterfront view.
After a long day at the beach, you can travel down Hosmer Street to E Main Street and enjoy some of Marlborough’s best restaurants, many of which can be found at RK Centre. Many locally owned eateries can also be found on Boston Post Road E, which connects to E Main Street on Route 20.
Memorial Beach is located on the eastern side of Fort Meadow Reservoir, where parking space is available for free for all Marlborough residents. You can find many parking spaces off Hosmer Street, which connects at either end to Route 62 on the north and Route 20 on the south.
There are walking paths, bike paths, fishing areas, and playgrounds along the reservoir where Memorial Beach is located.
