Nottingham Woods is a neighborhood located just south of Robin Hill Street in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Many of the homes are located on Donahue Drive, which forms an enclosed circle with Reynolds Court and Jacobs Road to the west and Doucette Drive and Bigelow Street to the east. Howe Pond and its surrounding woodlands are located just east of the area.
Nottingham Woods homes are mostly single-family Colonials with 3-4 bedrooms and 2-4 bathrooms. Many of the units also have a private driveway and attached garage. Some of the homes in the southern end of the neighborhood have a view of North Branch Brook, which feeds into Howe Pond and Millham Reservoir, a popular fishing area that also has hiking and biking paths.
Nottingham Woods is perhaps the neighborhood in Marlborough closest to Donald Lynch Boulevard, the city’s premiere shopping area. Here you’ll find Shops at the Pond and Solomon Pond Mall, which feature a combined 125+ stores and restaurants. Residents who golf can play a round at Juniper Hill Golf Course, a public course located about five miles south of the neighborhood.
Nottingham Woods is conveniently located near the Massachusetts 85 Connector, where locals can easily access Route 85, Interstate 290, and Interstate 495. Route 20 and Route 62 are also nearby, making this neighborhood an excellent home for commuters. If you’re looking to spend some time in Boston, you can quickly drive ten miles south along I-495 to the Mass Pike (I-90), which will take you into Boston in about an hour.
