The Village at Hager Meadows is nestled away on a quiet cul-de-sac with no through-traffic. However, the convenient location just off of Route 20 gives the residents of this complex quick access to a shopping center less than a mile west of the neighborhood.
There’s also a large shopping area about fifteen minutes away along Donald Lynch Boulevard. Here you’ll find the Shops at the Pond and Solomon Pond Mall, which feature over 125 stores and excellent eateries. Those needing to commute to work can quickly access Route 30, Route 85, as well as on-ramps for Interstate 290 and Interstate 495.
The Village at Hager Meadows is within about five miles Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge, a vast area of woodlands that is popular among hikers, bikers, and bird watchers. Nearby is the Assabet River Rail Trail, a long hiking and biking path that runs along an old railroad no longer in service. Even closer is Memorial Beach, a public beach where locals can enjoy swimming, fishing, or just lying out in the sun.
