Milford Center
Milford Center is the area of Milford from Prospect Street on the west to Hamilton Avenue on the east. Route 16 runs through the heart of Milford Center and takes residents to a downtown area full of popular restaurants and excellent shopping centers, including Plains Mall and Quarry Square Shopping Center. Many other state routes, including Route 85 and Route 140, intersect at Milford Center. State Route 109 is also accessible less than a mile west of Milford Center.

The homes in Milford Center comes in many shapes and sizes, including cozy 1-2 bedroom condos to large, 4 bedroom colonials. There are some 55+ age restricted communities in the area as well, such as Rockwood Meadows.
Milford Pond and the Charles River cross through Milford Center. Milford Pond has a public ramp where local launch their small boat or kayak to go fishing. Fino Field, the site of many sports field and a swimming pool, rests on the southern end of Milford Pond. Along Charles River you’ll find the Upper Charles River Trail, a 20+ mile long biking and walking trail. The picnic areas, playground, and concert stages at Milford Town Park can also be found in Milford Center.
Milford Center is the site of many of the town’s public services, including the local US Post Office, Milford Town Library, Milford Town Clerk, and a few schools. Many banks, convenience stores, and restaurants can be found along Main Street and Central Street.
