Needham Real Estate
Located west of Boston in Norfolk County, Needham is a larger town bordering the Charles River. First settled all the way back in 1680, Needham went through considerable growth in the 1930s and again in the 1960s. Today, Needham has a population today of approximately 29,000, thanks in part to its location along I-95 and Route 128 and the high tech industry belt found there. Needham’s main neighborhoods are Charles River Village, Needham Junction, Birds Hill, Needham Heights, and Needham Town Center.
Needham is 12.7 square miles and borders Wellesley, Newton, West Roxbury, Dover, Westwood, and Dedham. It is accessible by I-95, Route 128, and Route 135. It also has four stops on the MBTA Needham commuter rail: Needham Heights, Needham Center, Needham Junction, and Hersey.
