Located in Norfolk County, the town of Norfolk is a rural suburb 20 miles southwest of Boston, and also 20 miles from Providence (RI). With an area of 15.2 square miles, Norfolk is a medium size town with a population of about 11,220. Things to do in Norfolk include walking or hiking through the Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary. Norfolk has two main neighborhoods, Town Center and Highland Lake. The area around Pondville and Clark St is known for houses constructed in the 1940s post-war boom.
Norfolk borders the towns of Millis, Medfield, Walpole, Foxborough, Wrentham, Franklin, and Medway. It is accessible by Route 115 and Route 1A, and also has a stop on the MBTA commuter rail line.
