This neighborhood is an enclosed circle formed by Carlton Street, Woodway Drive, Brookway Drive, and East Avenue. Those who enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, and other water activities can make a short drive west to Lake Quinsigamond, which separates Shrewsbury from Worcester. There are also a couple of golf courses in the area such as Juniper Hill and Cyprian Keyes, which caters to the public.
Dean Park is conveniently located within a couple miles of Shrewsbury Crossing and Northborough Crossing, two outdoor shopping plazas that features dozens of excellent stores and restaurants. Many more shopping centers can be found along the Boston Turnpike such as Westmeadow Plaza and Stagecoach Plaza, the site of a Regal Cinema. Locals are also just a short drive away from the city atmosphere of Worcester in the west and Framingham in the east.
Those living near Dean Park can quickly travel into Boston via the Boston Turnpike and the Mass Pike, both of which are just a short drive from the park. There are many other highways nearby, including Route 140 and the Hartford Turnpike, which make it easy for locals to travel and commute to work.
