North Meadow Estates, Shrewsbury

North Meadow Estates is a neighborhood just north of Shrewsbury’s town center. The neighborhood is just east of Reservoir Street on Camelot Drive, Joseph Road, Round Table Road, and a few other side streets. Interstate 290, which runs east to I-495, west to I-495, and south to the Mass Pike, is only about a mile north of these homes.

The homes in North Meadow Estates are mostly large Colonials with 4-5 bedrooms and 3-5 bathrooms. Many of these houses also have large lawns, an attached garage, a private deck, and family rooms with a fireplace. The neighborhood is a very safe place to live as there are sidewalks on both sides of the street and very little through traffic.

This neighborhood is conveniently located with a few miles of many public parks and state forests. There are many trails and bike paths at Rawson Hill, Cold Harbor Brook, and Dean Park, which also features a small fishing pond. North Meadow Estates is also just a short drive from the many nature paths and woodland areas at Edmund Hill Woods in Northborough and Upton State Forest in Upton, Massachusetts. Those who enjoy fishing, boating, and swimming are only about five miles east of Lake Quinsigamond, which features a sandy beach on its eastern coast and many public boat launch ramps.

North Meadow Estates is centrally located between the excellent shopping centers of Shrewsbury and Marlborough. The homes are about five miles west of Donald Lynch Boulevard in Marlborough, the site of Solomon Pond Mall and Shops at the Pond. There are dozens of excellent stores and restaurants between these two shopping areas. This neighborhood is also just a few miles north of Route 9, where most of Shrewsbury’s shopping plazas are located. Along this road you’ll find Shrewsbury Crossing, Olde Shrewsbury Village, and White City Shopping Center.
