Those looking to hike or mountain bike can head a few miles south to Spencer State Forest or north to Oakham State Forest.

Candlewood Estates is less than fifteen minutes west of the exciting city atmosphere of Worcester, Massachusetts. Here you’ll find many excellent restaurants, shopping centers, and theaters for the arts including The Hanover Theatre, Mechanics Hall, and Palladium. There are more outstanding shopping malls such as the Auburn Mall in Auburn, Massachusetts, which is about 15 miles east of Spencer.

Residents of a home at Candlewood Estates are about an hour’s drive away from Boston, the largest city in New England. Locals can get there via Interstate 90, which is known locally as the Mass Pike. Interstate 90 also travels throughout western Massachusetts all the way to the New York state border.
