There are many homes near Sibley’s Corner, most of which are modestly sized ranches. Many houses in the area have 2-4 bedrooms, 1-2 bathrooms, and well over one thousand square feet of living space. There are also some smaller, 1-2 bedroom cottages along the coast of Lake Whittemore, which is located just west of this corner.

Lake Whittemore features many fishing spots along the coast, as well as a sandy, public beach on its southern coast. The beach is connected to Luther Hill Park, a large recreation complex with a skate park, picnic areas, a playground, and open fields to play sports. Those living in this neighborhood can also take Paxton Road north to Sugden Reservoir, a large body of water that welcomes motorized boats as well as paddleboards, canoes, and kayaks. The public can access the reservoir on its eastern side via a stone ramp.

The homes in Sibley’s Corner are just minutes away from the many stores, restaurants, and local businesses along Route 9, which runs west straight into the center of town. Along this road you’ll find many banks, gas stations, a grocery store, pharmacy, bowling alley, and much more. Much larger shopping malls and plazas can be found approximately 15 minutes east in either Worcester or Auburn, Massachusetts.

Commuters and travelers alike will easily be able to drive throughout central Massachusetts due to the many state highways near Sibley’s Corner. Route 9, 31, and 56 are all just a few miles from this neighborhood. Routes 31 and 56 both connect directly to the Mass Pike, which drivers can take west into the state of New York or east into the center of Boston.
