Country Club Acres is a 55+ restricted condominium complex in northern Worcester, Massachusetts. These condos are mainly located on Cobblestone Way, a cul-de-sac which also branches off onto Myra Lane and Enaya Circle. Poor Farm Brook runs directly behind the complex, giving many of the units a nice waterfront view.
The apartments at Country Club Acres vary in size, though they are mostly 2 bedroom units with 2-3 bathrooms, stainless steel appliances, a private deck, and an attached garage. Residents also have access of a community clubhouse. The complex is centrally located between Route 12 and Route 70, making it easy for residents to travel throughout central Massachusetts. Boston is about an hour drive to east thanks to the Mass Pike (Interstate 90), which can be accessed about ten miles south of the complex.
Country Club Acres is just down the street from Worcester Country Club, a private golf club that also features a recreation complex and a dining area. The public golf courses at Wachusett Country Club and Kettle Brook Golf Club are just a short drive away. This neighborhood is located between two of the area’s most popular fishing hotspots — Wachusett Reservoir and Lake Quinsigamond. The latter has many public ramps where visitors can launch boats, kayaks, and canoes. Those who enjoy hiking or bike riding can head to Green Hill Park or Broad Meadow Brook Conservation Restriction, both of which have networks of trails.
There are many shopping areas near Country Club Acres including White City Shopping Center and Greendale Mall. Both of these shopping centers feature over thirty popular stores and restaurants. Residents can also drive a mile west to W Boylston Street (Route 12) where they’ll find lots of stores including a Walgreen’s, Dollar General, and many grocery stores. W Boylston Street is also the site of many popular local restaurants including Lou Roc’s Diner, Oli’s Italian Eatery, and West Boylston Seafood & Restaurant.
