Although there are luxury properties scattered throughout Worcester, there are a couple of neighborhoods that feature many luxurious homes. One of these neighborhoods is Westwood Hills, which is located on Westwood Drive, Old Colony Road, Paul Revere Road, and a few other cul-de-sacs. The luxury homes in this neighborhood are mostly 4-6 bedroom, 3-4 bathroom Colonials built in the mid 1900s.

More luxury homes can be found in the Salisbury Street neighborhood on the western end of Salisbury Street in Worcester. The homes in this area include spacious, 5-7 bedroom and 5-7 bathroom Colonials and Tudors. Most of the luxury homes here and throughout Worcester have well over 3,000 square feet of living space, sometimes exceeding 7,500 square feet.

Many high-end properties in Worcester are surrounded by nature, including state forest, public parks, and relatively large bodies of water. Most of these luxury homes are centrally located between Cascades West Conservation Area, Bovenzi Conservation Park, and Green Hill Park, which has a public golf course at its northern end. Each of these parks and conservations have plenty of trails for hiking, jogging, or biking, as well as areas to picnic and birdwatch. Indian Lake, a popular place to go boating, fishing, and swimming, is also nearby. The lake is the site of two of Worcester’s most popular public beaches — Shore Park and Indian Lake Park.
