Being located on Worcester’s west side means that Moreland Hills is surrounded by conservation areas and parks. There a lots of areas to hike, bike, have a picnic, or go birdwatching at Muir Meadows Conservation Restriction, Cascades West Conservation Area, Cook’s Woods, and Holbrook Forest, all of which are within five miles of this complex. Tatnuck Country Club, which features a golf course, tennis courts, a pool, and a restaurant, is also just down the street from this condominium.

There are also many places to fish near Moreland Hills. Pine Hill Reservoir, the home of many crappie, bass, walleye, catfish, and more is a short drive to the north. Lake Quinsigamond, another popular fishing area, can be found on the eastern side of Worcester. There’s also a public ramp which visitors can use to to launch canoes, kayaks, and other boats. Those looking for a relaxing day by the water can head a couple miles east to Indian Lake, the site of Shore Park Beach and Indian Lake Park.

There are plenty of shopping options near the condos at Moreland Hills. Auburn Plaza Shopping Center and Auburn Mall, the site of a combined 100+ stores and restaurants, are less than ten miles south of this condominium in Auburn.
