Route 20 and Route 122, which travels into the heart of the city of Worcester, intersect within a mile of this neighborhood. Residents can also get to Boston quickly by hopping on an Interstate 90 (the Mass Pike) on-ramp, which can be found less than two miles away from this area.

Weatherstone at Blithewood is within five miles of many outstanding shopping centers, the closest of which is Southwest Commons. The Shoppes At Blackstone Valley is about a ten minute drive south in Millbury, where visitors will find a Target, Best Buy, Marshalls, movie theater, and many excellent restaurants. 

Weatherstone at Blithewood is a just a few minutes south of Flint Pond, which feeds directly into Hovey Pond and Lake Quinsigamond. This massive body of water is a popular place to go fishing for salmon, bass, and trout, and boating on a kayak or canoe. This neighborhood is also within driving distance of many of the state’s largest public parks including Upton State Forest and Douglas State Forest, which crosses into parts of Connecticut and Rhode Island. Both of these forests are great for birdwatching, bike riding, hiking, or going out for a picnic.
